Starting from 2001 the telecom division has been launched to broaden the range of services that Digital Group for Telecom and Information offers. At the beginning, the division focused on providing business and government sector, especially in the rural area or in area suffering from lack of infrastructure, with the Internet connectivity via satellite using both one and two way satellite connection. In 2002 we were the leaders to start providing SCPC service, later on in 2005 Digital Group for Telecom and Information once again were pioneer and installed its first PMP VSat network in Libya.

Digital Group for Telecom and Information one of the national private held companies that played an important role to help the economic of the country to overcome the obstacles that faces the business and government sector as a result of the lack or absence of infrastructure specially in the desert area where most of the oil companies concentrated.

The telecom division expanded its services once again and started deploying wireless broadband solutions and building point-to-point and point-to-multi-point networks.

Over the years Digital Group worked on building distinguished engineering and technical teams armed with know-how and experience. A variety of local and international training programs have been designed and delivered with coordination with our international partners like Redline communications, the leading supplier of wireless broadband, among others.
